Thanks, Roseanne. I still had the form up, so, just for fun, I clicked the "Update" button which runs the aforementioned code, and it worked. Already a member? I have tried and am able to add a record to the table manually, so it's not an issue with permissions on the back-end.

I relinked the database to the tables in the backend and the problem went away but as The_Doc_Man points out it could come back again.
