I recommend just ripping the movie to your hdd first (the entire movie) then while the movie is on your hdd use CloneCD to rework it to fit on a dvd. It seems to me that you just have a bad block and it will not extract no matter what you do. If not, then just rip as normal and maybe youll be fine. Tyler! With Lizzy McGuire it did it at 13%, Johnny English was at 9% while Buffalo Soldiers got to 90%(!!!). I have tried to copy & paste the video & audio files directly onto my hard drive, but that has failed during the video file as well. navigate here Copy all the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder to a folder on your hdd.
When Burning/backing up DVD's with Clone (and ANYDVD) 3 times out of 5 I will get this error message. I havent had one failure writing, only reading. You can try and load up your files on CloneDVD now but I think it may give an error.
And yes, there are little scratches on the disk, but surely if its good enough to play the thing through one of the players, its good enough to burn.
